<<We should give credit to Palm Pilot for their good taste, they have an ad
in PC magazines this month, showing the Pilot, held by a photographer, in
a vest. Slung around the neck is an M6 TTL, and what I beleive is a Leica
SLR, I am not familiar enough with them to say for sure, but it sure looks
like one.
Surprising they didn't have a Nicanolta with some huge zoom if they wanted
to show a REAL photographer :) >>

Those Palm Pilots are everywhere! The Palm V is, as it's advertising
indicates, slick. It is a good thing to whip out in front of a group of
people (?) Didn't like 'em now I do... It's the modern day pack a smokes.
And Palm People HIT THE SPOT. THIS is what will not only give leica
attention but rightful recognition of its subtle yet powerful presence. The
Pilot and M6, was this to create a contrast so as to bring the 'new' palm
thing out? Nah . They'd use a six shooter but it's against the aclu. Rising
portability needs that ground which is the prototype (and still is) of
portability in a time when 'capturing' is so big (the Palm VII swipes the
stocks out of thin air). Konica, etc, this is all good for Leica. Get the
attention, Then direction will follow. Palm should try that with another
camera and see how well it works.
