IMHO. it's not even completely true because a lens with less contrast forces you
to use a higher contrast paper or develop for higher contrast both of which
contributes to more grain. So you could say a lower contrast lens is a grainier lens.
But in general when one discusses lense grain is not part of the discussion.
But I'm only saying this for the general benefit of the uniformed or unformed masses.
