Kodachrome is a true 64, if you rate it at 80 you just make it more
contrasty.

I have found, as most photographers have, that Velvia is really an EI 40
film. Not 50. Velvia doesn't do well with underexposure. You cannot use it
like Kodachrome, which thrived on a bit of underexposure..
