Irwin has posted the following comment:

<< I myself cannot contribute to the Lug anymore since Eric in his Olympic
wisdom has decreed that testers of lenses have worthless information about
lenses compared to his own views. >>

I am shocked, saddened, and disappointed to hear this:

Irwin: At considerable risk of being misunderstood by you and others
(He's off-topic, He's engaging in some form of psycho-babble (I'm not), He's
too analytical ) may I offer the following well meaning, well intended
observations out of my great respect for your LUG contributions. I do hope
you will reconsider, and in the meantime cut me some slack as I wax
analytical; not entirely unlike yourself and quite deliberately pacing
yourself!!!!

1. "Diagnosis": I sense excessive sensitivity on your part (hypothesis-1)
based on your highly developed systemic and formulaic consciousness
(hypothesis-2)...which, I greatly admire! (Note: this is a consciousness
that over emphasizes systems and order in the world, in the self, in others;
and, is a consequence of habitual value vision problems(i.e., value imbalance
and value astigmatism) more likely evoked in your personal world than in your
work world (hypothesis-3).

2. "Treatment": Far better that you balance your highly developed systemic
talents (indeed, genius!!!!) with a stronger intrinsic value vision or
consciousness
(hypothesis-4); where, intrinsic means greater (non-formulaic sensitivity to
the uniqueness and individuality of others etc. Striking this higher order
of balance between your intrinsic (I) value vision and your systemic (S) value
vision would likely unlock your potential to exercise your systemic genius
with less "friction" in the personal worlds of self and others (hypothesis-5).

3. "Conclusions": Your testing these hypotheses, rather than dismissing them
outright, might prove of value for you personally (hypothesis-6). It's not
important that I'm right or wrong in what I say; only, that you test the
hypotheses, in the spirit of science and the search for truth!

4. A personal note: my expertise is in the study of values, valuation and
morals in different populations and around the world. My hobby is
photography. I especially enjoy your LUG participation and devoutely hope
you'll reconsider the above, disturbing commentary:

Your Values Specialist, and
The Best of Value Vision,
