Paranoia strikes deep:  into your heart it will creep!  Several points of
interest.  First, crooks are dumb, and don't know a Leica from a
Lippinzaner Stallion, though they HAVE heard of Nikon and Canon.
Therefore, you are safe in the most worm-ridden hell-hole on this planet:
they haven't a clue what you've got around your neck!  All THEY know is
that the fences won't give them much for it.  Now, that dude over there
with the Nikon, he's fair game, but this "Leica?" guy, naw.

Hoods steal to make money.  They've never heard of Leica, nor have their
fences.  You're safe with them.  I know:  I represent these guys, and hoods
are stupid, or else they'd do something more profitable for a living, like
working for the Infernal Revenue Service or an insurance company or a bank.
