Subject: Re: [Leica] Leica Stigma

I routinely shoot with older gear -- I did a pro shoot a week back with a
Contax IIIa and Prewar lenses, for instance, and I often shoot with a
Prewar Super Ikonta B, or a Rolleiflex 2.8F, or a IIIc Leica or the like.

At least every other time, someone, not necessarily an older type, walks up
and wants to talk cameras. They recognize my gear, and we have some fine
conversations about the joys of older equipment.

But, then, I'm an approachable cuss, so maybe that's the difference. And
none of my nameplates or "red dots" are taped up, so this might be a
factor, as well.
