Subject: [Leica] The Character

I just sent 3 messages, and got 22, many of them about me. In the beginning
I was astonished, and amazed getting all this attention. Now I think it is
time to round off... forget about my "character", my person, and whatever. I
am a member of the list as the rest of you. What are you afraid about?

I bought my first Leica about 30 years ago, and I have had several up to the
fancy M6. It is a simple and nice camera, an ideal tool for my kind of
photography. I've ended up (?) with a M3 and M2 with a couple of lenses, and
a couple of other nice cameras. But this is trivial. Cameras are not
important. The story is important, the message, your point of view. If you
have nothing to say, nothing to tell, it's dead even with the finest cameras.

Now let's turn the page, and talk about photography, images, Leica, the
world. That is what we are supposed to do here, isn't it?
