The EF 35 f2 is a dead ringer for the 35 summicron with B&W film (it's more yellow in color). Canon clearly has a mind for designing lenses with smoother bokeh. So you may well not see much difference. But compare the 60mm lens on the Fuji GS645 to a Leica or Canon lens, you'll see the difference.
