Thanks to all of you for your response!  I'm leaning toward the M-series
to start and adding a different system for my large telephoto or waiting
to afford an R-series.  I really enjoy this list.  The people on this
list obviously take their photography very seriously and take their
passion to a technical level that I really appreciate.  Thanks--Jill
