May I suggest someone nobel enough to set up a list containing serial numbers of lost equipments (namely Leica) so all of us who bought secondhand cameras will know if the equipments are 'HOT'. Besides, if any LUGgers came across any of the stolen equipment, it can be reported. This will be someway to hit back at those who bought stolen goods knowingly. However, I personally don't think that will stop any 'thugs' from going after the much coveted(?) thingy with the "Red-dot!" on it. What do you guys think ? >The thing that irks me the most is how we champion these guys that buy this >stuff with praises like "Boy did you ever get lucky there". I wish everyone >that was so lucky would realize the misfortune of the guys that had the gear >stolen. Rick, I fully agreed with you. I lost my Leica M4 with 3 lenses to a mugger in Zurich (of all places). Sure hope anyone who bought my beloved stolen M4 knowingly be robbed in return so he would get "that feeling" I felt for the past 24 months! Sorry for my tear-jerker....Sob...!!! :~( Regards, Shyan
