Hey, LUGGERS,

Someone has to stand up for chrome!!! I have one and love it and the way
it looks and works. It is about as enjoyable to hold and handle as it is
to use, and I am a user. True, I am a hobbyist and, perhaps, I might feel
differently if I were a journalist taking it God only knows where and who
might be around me.

I will probably be using it only in USA and Canada. I have had no
problems or looks, as far as I know. I don't cover the red dot. Some
other countries (without naming them - someone had a list a while ago,
don't remember where) I might not feel quite so safe.

When I went to Sweden several years ago I took an R4 with 50/2.0 and
Hasselblad with 80/2.8 -both black (both carried at the same time to look
like a tourist my wife says).

I have been trying to get sufficient funds together to buy a new M6,
before the price decrease runs out. If I can ever do this - it will also
be chrome. Probably shoot K25 in one and K200 in the other.
