Subject: R7 & 35-70/3.5 E60 (Japan)

Fellow LUGS,

After months of consternation, trying to choose between the M system that
I own (M6, 21/2.8, 35/1.4 ASPH, 75/1.4 and 135/4.0) and expanding the R
system I own (R7 and above 35-70 zoom) into an R8 system, I have decided
to stay with the M and get another M6 body (new if possible with the new
rebates).

I am therefore trying to sell the R7 and above lens. Both appear to be
mint to me, but they are at least mint- at the least. They are in very
good condition and work well:

	(1) R7 #1922565 $ 1300.00
	(2) 35-70/3.5 (Japan) E60 #3319858 700.00

or both for $ 2000 or trade for a mint recent chrome M6. I really don't
want to separate the two, if possible.

Why?? Most of my pictures are either travel, scenics, inside buildings,
people etc. Just got back from my granddaughter's high school graduation
- - shot pics with the M6 and 1000 asa, R7 and 400 ASA print films (K64),
and Leica mini - 200 asa print film. Took most of the pics at graduation
with the 75/1.4 and 135/4.0 - hand held, and inside a Japanese steak
house with the 35/1.4 ASPH - they came out quite well. Most of the R7
ended up being happy snaps.

I can focus much better with the M than with the R in lower light, and in
general. I also use a spot meter and indcident meter. The R has turned
into something more to carry around and I will not being buying more R
lenses (budget) - So I have the option of staying with the M or selling
it out and buying all R.

The mini was easier to use in small rooms with the built in flash for
happy snaps than the R.

I will probably also buy another Mini so that we can have print in one
and chrome in the other.

If anyone is interested - please e-mail me directly.
