I just found this somewhere on the Web - anybody near Minneapolis who might be able to give us
a brief synopsis of the exhibition or post some of the text from the catalogue (if it's of interest) for
those of us too far away...

Dayton Hudson Gallery, Minneapolis Instsitue of Arts
This is a major retrospective exhibition exploring the career of Henri Cartier-Bresson, one of the
leading
photo-journalists of 20th-century photography. The exhibition is comprised of more than 100
works of art
selected by the artist, including drawings, photographs, and for the first time a retrospective
sampling of eight
rarely exhibited paintings and several films by and about the artist. A small illustrated catalogue
accompanies
the exhibition.
