[Leica] [OM] IMG: How can you get a dirty sensor with a camera that does not have interchangeable lenses?

Judging from my own experience, that is surely a bit of foreign material, not a sensor problem per se. I assume that your camera doesn’t have the ultrasonic sensor-cleaning function? Or that it didn’t work?

Maybe a sharp (not TOO sharp!) rap on the bottom left corner would dislodge it.

The camera is not labelled or marketed as weatherproof and since I live in a place that is very dry and often windy, it is highly likely that a grain of dust got inside the camera. I very much doubt that Panasonic would fix this under warranty (the camera is out of warranty anyway), so I will just live with it and remove the spot in LR when it is bothersome (as it is in the example I posted).

Proof that it's dust on the sensor would be to take successive photos of clear blue sky from wide open to fully closed down. At the LX-100's maximum aperture of f/1.7-2.8 the dust bunny may be invisible or nearly so as a very light gray cloud. As the aperture closes down its shape will be more distinct (as in the image below) and it will get much darker.
