[Leica] M9 reliability question

No time scale AFAIK, mine is nearly six years old. I did not ask after the replacement time as I do not use it that often these days...

likely you know  about this John, how long from purchase date do we have to get a sensor replacement, when corrosion is found ?   Does Leica give any estimate for how long replacement takes ?
