[Leica] M9 reliability question

"Indefinitely" is a short time in the digital world. Not like you can
machine a part that is no longer available for an old M camera. Sensors to
fit will not be made at some point, probably nearer rather than further.
Unless, they can, at Leica, remove the offending glass and glue a new one on
the old sensor.

My understanding from reading This morning is that Leica will replace the
sensor indefinitely. Check Thorsten Overgaards site as he has s new post up
about the M9 with a lot of info that covers your question.
