[Leica] Photo database software suggestions?

Lightroom will do all of that and much more.
I have over 800,000 photos on 22 hard-drives that I can search through by
any metadata. It has face recognition. It's very fast and easy.
As for the same filename, you can easily add a suffix to distinguish
between the files as you import them or LR will do it for you.
