Larry, I have a maths grenade and a IIIc too, but no slide rules. I was
taught how to use one in school, but, in banking, we didn't use them.
Instead, they just allowed the rules to slide. Et voila! everyone got 2008.
I see your Curta has coloured buttons and thus must be a Typ II ? Mine is a
Typ I with a serial no 20075 which makes it 63 years old. It's still working
perfectly, and it, and its case, are in mint condition. I love the thing.
Mind you, I see they're getting insane prices on eBay these days. Here's a
pic of it.
