[Leica] Old stuff

I can match you with a IIIa, IIIf and both slide rules. Never used a
circular rule.

My 10" rule is a K&E Trig, because the college bookstore was sold out of
Deci-Trig rules. My small one is a yellow P&E that served me many
nights before our wind tunnels got true digital instrumentation. And
not a battery to be found in any of them.

Many more are still interred there. All still work as well as they did when they were new. No batteries are required. Bear in mind that most of the bridges, all of the WW2 airplanes, and all Leica lenses prior to the Summicron were designed using slide rules and mechanical calculators. Will the Leica SL still work in half a century?
