THACHER Slide rule by K+E

Note that on EBay, there are several 7 foot giant models for the class
room... 
Note that in about 1970 or so, simple electronic calculators became
available.....originally made by TI using the predecessor of the Intel 4004
uP.  Atr that time, slide rules were still very common is use at NASA.....

I have a slide rule that was made for flash exposure calculations.... never
figured that one out.....

All still work as well as they did when they were new. No batteries are
required. Bear in mind that most of the bridges, all of the WW2 airplanes,
and all Leica lenses prior to the Summicron were designed using slide rules
and mechanical calculators. Will the Leica SL still work in half a century?
