Nathan,
I know exactly what you conveyed. That sentiment, of it being considered
art, has nothing to do with the size it was printed - that is just a
strategy to charge more (most artists below the top couple of rungs charge
by square inch/cm) - it is just considered art because of the marketing
savvy of the photographer! Remember, pricing in the art world is ONLY based
on what the market will bear. Not very different from Leica/Rolex/Montblanc
and all the other luxury marques, coming to think of it...:-)
