This results in the ring going loose. This ring can no longer be purchased for the 28/1.4 and now that the 85/1.4 AF-D is out of production, parts are likely to become scarce and this ring may become unavailable for the 85/1.4 AF-D. Another reason to like the AiS or get the AF-S G. Marty
