Bob, because, that's his name) never owned up. The year was 2006, I think, after the Epson R-D1 came out, and he said that Leica would have a full frame version out by Oct 2007 (I can't remember what I ate this morning, but do remember crappy things like this without trying), and I was generous enough to give him until the end of 2007. Of course, there's no such thing. Although I would have lost it BADLY if someone in July 2009 wanted to bet a full frame Leica would be here before the end of the year.. Fortunately I am not a betting man in general. I never did learn to play mah-jong, only one in the family not to do so...
