Why do you say this?
We, the assembled multitude, have NO idea the cost of components for
cameras. For all we know, the correct choice of FF sensor may be less cost
than the 2/3 or 1/2 or whatever sensors we now have..... If company XYZ
gets a hair in the wrong place, they will want to take market share, and do
it by cutting the cost to the camera makers.....
Don't bet on anything WRT costs ......

The other possibility is that wit will not be full frame, which will bring
down the cost even further.
