New update this week that supports EXIF data too. You must really be annoyed that MS don't support MSDOS 5 any more for you. You just can't get good value for money in computer software these days ;-) Cheers Geoff Aber Masse kann Klasse nicht ersetzen....Aber die R10 kommt. http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman/e http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/ -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Frank Filippone Sent: Sunday, 19 October 2008 12:46 To: 'Leica Users Group' Subject: RE: [Leica] Scanner Progress...... Vuescan I have had the demo version for a year. It is as bad or maybe slightly worse than NikonScan for counter intuitiveness. OTOH, I just got it working like it should..... after trying maybe 10 times...... Which is why I tried it for free for a year before I decided to buy it...... this SW stuff is still all shams and snake oil.... Until it works, it is worthless, no matter who says what about how good it is..... BTW, I like DOS. I really liked it....... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net Vuescan - bought a license, and found the thing tedious and awkward, if not counter intuitive - maybe my intuition is bad phx _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
