The camera listed immediately after the faux M2R is a "Leica-M Post Camera" with 35/2,8 Summaron lens. The Leica body behind the lens is an M3. I am not Jim Lager, Gianni Rogliatti nor even our own Tom Abrahamssen. But I have seen a lot of Leica post cameras. They have all had solid topplates, no range/viewfinder. I have never seen an M3 "post camera" and am quite certain that such never existed. Why would Leitz waste the money to put an expensive range/viewfinder on a camera that would never use it. Very strange stuff going on in that store. ----- Original Message ----- From: "GREG LORENZO" <gregj.lorenzo@shaw.ca> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Monday, February 20, 2006 6:34 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Bogus M2-R Auction > Douglas Sharp writes: > >> Is this the shop in Pied Bull Yard?
