i've gone the opposite way and tried a nikkor 50mm enlarging lens on a
leica with strange results. photos were bad enough to keep me from
experimenting further. very out of focus and circular.

i've heard that camera lenses make bad enlarging lenses because they're
not optimised for a flat field.
