Subject: [Leica] bob kramer & week 15

kudos to bob kramer -- 15 weeks and going strong. let this be an
inspiration to everybody.

week 15's shot,

shows, i think, that bob has found a very unique place in "little five
points" this image looks strangely surreal, like the big Gaudio's
christmas display I remember from my youth -- a fake little city built
indoors populated by mechanical elves and I, always wondering "what's
behind that little door, what's up that staircase?" and in the case of the
Gaudio's christmas display i realized, years later, that nothign was
behind the door and nothign was up the staircase because it was as fake as
a hollywood movie set. bob's got a fabulous little alley here with great
lighting.

& on the technical side:
the scan seems a tad dark to me and i think i can see compression
legacies. the large image size is a little small to me, i'd like to see
something about 800 pixels across, i find myself squinting at this one
wondering what it looks like.

keep pressing that shutter button, it'll come unstuck,
