I shoot mostly landscapes and travel.? Since I keep getting older ( the alternative is not good!), the weight of the camera bag has been a constant problem... aches and pains and bad back or/and knees all cry out for Ibuprofen and a lighter camera bag. What convinced me.....was the constant need to lower the weight of my carrying outfit.? The heaviest thing in my bag was the 135/4 Tele Elmar lens.? Weighs a ton. Shoots like a dream.? But how to eliminate it without eliminating the ability to shoot from the longer distances? MORE PIXELS And so I now have a 90 that can do double duty.... Given the same pixel output, the 90 with a 40MP sensor is the same as the 135 with a 19MP sensor... and I do not carry around the extra weight of an additional lens. The M9 is my backup camera.? You ALWAYS need to carry a backup...or at least have one close by, just in case.
