Of all the operas I photographed for the Houston Grand Opera, Boris Gudonov
was my favorite, primarily because of the bass-baritone playing the part of
the 16 century Russian tsar Boris Gudonov. Not only could Treigle sing, but
he was an outstanding actor. HIs performance was stunning:
