Greetings to all.  Jim's Rose of Sharon inspired me to walk back to a
grouping growing wild near a retention pond:

Still at the pond these worts are encroaching on the Johnson grass:

Unusually happy by a hiking trail in Georgetown TX:

This plant species has been all over sidewalks, fields, and anyplace with a
few square inches of dirt:

St. Edwards University field fronting Congress Street in late summer:

Walking on The Greenway which is a trail system winding through much of
Austin you find these banks of limestone cliffs.  After a bit of rain the
plants grow while they can:
