Most of our flowering plants mistook high 70's F weather for spring and are
about to be frozen solid; temp are said to go to 3 degrees F or -16 C
sometime Sunday. The truly native plants didn't believe the warm weather
like the pecan trees, however lots of people import plants that haven't
adapted to the truly variable weather on the southern plains/northern
reaches of the coastal plain.
