I was taught 40 some years ago to make your eyes gravitate to the center focus point right away. In this case, the green stem & the right side petal lead you there to the green petal before it opens before the whole shot appears. Many of the things you shoot do the same for me when I see them. I do appreciate B&W more. Another tool that I use for B&W is a ZONE 6 viewing filter or a vintage Harrison filter from movie use.
