Greetings to all.  These images are all from a large retention pond about
2km from our house.  For those of you outside of modern city design you
have to build enough storage for water runoff that the downstream water
plume from a rain is the same after construction of whatever you build.
This pond was the cooperative project for several buildings and is about
1.5 hectares in total space for natural habitat.

The first is from a hillside on the dry side of the dam:

Last was an opportunistic thistle on a slope to the retention pond from one
of the commercial structures that the pond supports:
