For those of you outside of modern city design you have to build enough storage for water runoff that the downstream water plume from a rain is the same after construction of whatever you build. This pond was the cooperative project for several buildings and is about 1.5 hectares in total space for natural habitat. The first is from a hillside on the dry side of the dam: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/dandelions+in+the+making.jpg.html These grasses are from the top of the dam: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/down+with+the+grass.jpg.html This field of onions was on the opposite side of the pond from the dam: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/field+of+onions.jpg.html Last was an opportunistic thistle on a slope to the retention pond from one of the commercial structures that the pond supports: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Thistle.jpg.html All the best:
