Thanks Don, looking at the other images shown I think I was 'lucky' to be

I think that yours is the better image; but I have been deep in photography
for more than 55 years. The winners seemed trite and formulaic.   The
exception would be the very dark portrait that looked like a face floating
in a sea of doom.
