I used to deal with both the UK and Japan.... The relative times were:  The
UK closes up, California is just opening up, and Japan is just going to bed.
If you use those time zones as a measure, with 8 hours in between each,
then.....

2PM PST works....  It is 10PM in England, and 6AM in Japan.  Not too bad. (
of course I can say that, 2PM for me is no big deal !)

Chennai?????? Have no idea.  1-2-3 hours earlier than Japan?  THAT hurts.
Maybe Jayanand did not give up his early AM hours when he was working as a
stock broker?
