On weekdays I go to the nearest bakery, located about 300 meters from my house; but on weekends, when I have more time, I take a longer walk, to a proper French bakery about 1 km from the house. It is the real thing, owned and staffed by French people, with many of the customers also French (there are quite a few of permanent French residents around here), and the bread and pastries just as good as what I get when I am in France. So yesterday I walked there, with a long detour on the beach. Three images.
