Subject: [Leica] We're losing a LUG member

Steve and I had a humorous (at least to me) off list communication many
years ago:  his user name was 'kididdoc' and for a long time I thought it
meant 'kid id doc' because I assumed he was a child psychologist ('id', get
it?).  He patiently explained the 'id' referred to his medical specialty of
infectious diseases.

As time has gone by I have had contact with adult infectious diseases
specialists here and I can just imagine how difficult yet rewarding it must
have been for him treating pediatric patients.

I'll add this photo of my 8 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 'Draco'
sticking out his tongue.  He expresses my feeling on receiving this news:
