I did not see LR 6 (maybe got updated) but still have LR 5.7.1 - on restarting with current catalog I get: 'The Lightroom catalog named '*****' cannot be opened because it is too new to be used by this version of Lightroom. Would you like to select a different catalog?' When I choose different catalog I can see LR 2, 3 ,4 and 5 catalogs to choose from... I then tried Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC 2015 (v2015.14 with camera raw 10.1) and it can only open the earlier catalogs (same error as above) plus a later one, but not the current one. So looks like no going back john -----Original Message----- So, here is my take on this question.? When my father-in-law bought the subscription, I installed it and converted? his LR6 catalog.? But I seem to? remember that the original LR6 catalog was still there, so the conversion made a new catalog.? I never did test his old LR6 catalog to see if it was still functional with LR6 as he removed it.? He does not like clutter. Maybe someone else can see if their old LR6 catalog is still on their system after converting ands if they still have LR6 installed, test it to see if it is still functional.? I am headed to his house now, so if he still has the LR6 catalog I will copy it over to my laptop and see if it still works. Aram On 12/20/2019 5:59 PM, CartersXRd wrote: > are we sure about that?
