Subject: [Leica] a few birdies
From: telyt at earthlink.net (Douglas Herr)

Aside from a desire for longer native lenses, the SL's 24 MP with a lens as
spectacularly good as the 90-280 APO resulted in horrific aliasing and color
moire in fine feather detail, and I did not get along at all with the
SL+90-280 optical stabilization. I liked the camera enough that I tried
inventing scenarios that could rationalize the considerable expense but
reluctantly concluded that I ought to do what I did with the Sony alpha 7
system, wait until the second generation cameras and appropriate lenses
before jumping in.
