Subject: [Leica] Wednesday Weeds

Greetings to all.  Today brings us plants growing by the sidewalk down Mary
Street in SoCo which is a neighborhood in Austin South of the town lake.
The first image is of a plant doing quite well for itself despite the lack
of rainfall or irrigation:

This next image is of a grass gone to seed.  This part of the Texas plain
was mostly short grass prairie with the grasses adapted to droughts, by the
way, this plant has a few mites visiting for food or profit:

Last for today is an unidentified plant that is just showing distress at
the lack of water:
