Thanks Lluis, Jayanand, and Philippe. I liked Sidney Bechet too - my
uncle was a jazz fiend!

On music, during my flight out to Nice, as we were too mean to pay the
Ryanair sit together premium, I found myself sitting beside a tattoo
artist who was returning home after a conference in Dublin. We got
talking and he showed me his work. Even though I'm an ink virgin, I was
impressed by his portfolio, but am still determined to keep my flesh
unsullied until the crematorium fires roar for me.

Anyway, Naho is his name and he is originally from Tahiti. He now lives
in France, but travels all over the world to do specialist tattoos,
especially on musicians. Turns out he was also a musician and told me to
look up Naho, Tahiti on Youtube. The following day, at the apartment in
juan-les-Pins, I looked him up and found
this...

He didn't sing for me on the plane :-)
