The second image is a better portrait as you have better direct engagement with your subject; the pose is very similar to the famous "Afghan Girl". Your first image is a more demure pose, possibly better suited to a girls place in her present culture but your second image proves that for this person that is not the case. As editors of our work we must be brutal when looking at our own work as you were when you posted both images. You knew that the first image wasn't quite there for your intended purpose. Please keep your edited images coming, your body of work is outstanding.
