Its sharp and that sharpness contrast with the sharpness level on her face closer to the camera which is less sharp. There is some extra processing going on it looks like to help sharpen the image perhaps it?s a bit noticeable. This is way I try to stop down a few as often as possible as you hate to have that magic moment be just out of focus. It doesn?t always ruin the shot but often it does. I say f 5.6 and be there! Save the wide open shots for black cats at midnight in a coalmine. -- Mark William Rabiner Photographer On 10/28/17, 4:07 PM, "LUG on behalf of Tina Manley" <lug-bounces+mark=rabinergroup.com at leica-users.org on behalf of tmanley at gmail.com> wrote: Of course, he is an extreme crop, too. I can see his individual eyelashes which is good enough for me. This is with the 50/1.4 which is much less forgiving than the 24-90. When you need it, it's fabulous, but it's not always the most accurate unless you take 4 or 5 photos and choose the best. Sometimes that's not possible. I have some others where you can see the pores in the skin of an extreme enlargement. The only sharpening is the masked sharpening in LR.
