I don't know of any in Irish catholic churches and yet they're common in Church of Ireland ones. The Cathedral of St. Andre in Bordeaux is a wonderful place, but I've never been inside it yet, although I've been outside it many times, either walking, driving, or indeed cycling as I did this year. Normally I'm chasing my tail heading off to chateaux and vineyards with the others, but one day I'll go in. Here's a photo of some young ladies outside it with one saying goodbye to her single life - burying her youth as a single girl. It's taken with my Rolleiflex in 2006. https://www.flickr.com/photos/50543475 at N00/145780679/ Douglas On 26/09/2017 20:09, Nathan Wajsman wrote: > You depicted the place wonderfully.
