My daughter in Columbia was in the line of 100% totality and she had a totally different experience with 360 degree sunset and night skies for just over 2 minutes. It never got totally dark here but was like twilight and temperature dropped dramatically. We had the weird shadows and shimmering light on the ground. Our birds made lots of noise but never went to roost. I'll post photos later of what the rim light looked like at 98%.
