The results are very Leica. I consistently need "long" and the Leica is very much for me. I also use the R8/DMR before the action to shoot the tailgates and sideline shots with my 35mm, 60mm and 135mm lenses. I also use the same R8/DMR after the action using my 19mm and 28mm for the awards. All on one Leica, the same R8/DMR throughout. Quite a versatile kit, both short and long. Jim James R. As far as 100mm macro, the 100mm Apo Macro Elmarit is the best lens I have ever held in my hands, period. I am no fan boy, but this is simply the greatest lens I have ever experienced.
