Would you please send it along so we can see the distortion compared to a corrected version? Thank you most kindly. cheers, ted -----Original Message----- From: LUG [mailto:lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Jim Nichols Sent: August-10-16 9:03 AM To: LUG at Leica-Users.org; Olympus Camera Discussion Subject: [Leica] IMG: Threatening Weather The weather locally has been hot and unsettled, with thunderstorms, both heavy and light, showing up almost every day. The Fujinon 35/2.0 captures it nicely, but the distortion of this lens must be corrected in order to get the preferred straight lines. Comparisons by others have shown that this lens has approximately three times the distortion of the 35/1.4 lens, when left uncorrected. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Threatening+Weather.tif.html Best viewed LARGE.
