I agree. Nothing wrong with ?do I like this camera and/or lens? trials?

Doug is doing this with the SL at the moment.
He?s also doing those trials with criteria in mind;
and he?s sharing his results with descriptions of his criteria;
as well as his evaluations of how the camera performs against that criteria.

All of that helps us, viewers and readers, to understand both
Doug?s approach to photography;
and how the camera performs
within his approach and environments.
